J.P. Morgan Asset Management

The next chapter for UK equities

James Illsley, Managing Director
James Illsley, Portfolio Manager, will discuss the backdrop for UK equities as the country heads for a potential future outside of the European Union. He will outline why he thinks the asset class remains attractive despite the political noise, showing how he has navigated Brexit uncertainty by maximising exposure to the companies in which he has the highest conviction, whilst reducing exposure to those stocks that he finds least attractive. James will also look at some of the attractive investment opportunities that he is finding in the UK market despite the more volatile economic backdrop, highlighting companies that are continuing to deliver shareholder value by adapting to the changing environment in which they operate.
